The County of Kent is located in the extreme south east corner of England, bordering the English Channel, with a coast line of over 100 miles and a total area of approximately 1500 square miles, some of which includes parts of the London conurbation, and where over 100 golf courses can be found. The County is blessed with a good number of 'Links' type courses, including two that have hosted 'The Open' a number of times, but most are parkland courses that benefit from the mild, year round climate, to be found in this part of England.
